Exhausted
I'm having pretty bad after holiday blues, just feeling tired and exhausted all day.
It doesn't help that today is the coldest day of this winter in New York (likely), my face hurt when cold wind blew. Now I'm ready for bed :)

What is really important in your life?
I missed blogging for a few days...now it's time to catch up although it's almost 1am in New York. Outside it's raining ice, I can hear the sound of ice drops hitting our AC box. Again it's one of these weekends I plan to catch up on work emails and gaining new knowledge, but failed miserably...C'mon you.
A big topic for today's blog, it's a very very difficult question, I don't plan to give it an answer today. I'm ranting because I'm feeling helpless. Roughly 6800 miles away, I wish to be able to share your pain and take care of you, but I can't. If I can just abandon everything I have now for you, I would. It's difficult, but I will as long as you ask me, but you act so strong.
Fingers crossed, everything will be ok.

Whipping cream, 做奶油
教你如何做奶油 －时间是关键哦 :)
今天小雪，我上班偷懒了一点点，提前下班，挤出了半个小时左右的时间来 “玩” 做奶油。
首先是准备原材料。美国超市有卖重奶油 (heavy whipping cream) 的，比如说 http://goo.gl/pO3Gwf，国内可能不大方便找到。新鲜的奶油原料即便放在冰箱中，也需要在一周左右内用完。然后还需要准备一个拂 (whisk)和用来搅拌用的大碗，我猜想拂这个厨具是西方发明的，在国内的时候偶尔看到电视上的厨师打鸡蛋用，没有看到家人或是朋友用过。
然后呢我们就可以开动了，搅拌重奶油这活儿是需要持之以恒的态度。

已经搅拌了快18分钟了，手好累啊。。。
手臂酸痛，在20分钟左右的时候，液体神奇地固化了

Happy New Year
I'm naming this new blog space's URL address as "woainewyork", in the hope that I will fall in love with this giant, dark, often impersonal gotham city some day in the near future. Many of you might know already, and for those that don't here's a useful sentence in Chinese: wo = I, ai = love, thus "woainewyork" becomes "ilovenewyork".
Shamelessly here I am trying baby steps to start one of my 2013 (oh wait, wait...it's 2014 already!) new year's resolution - blog/journal more, fingers crossed a blog post a day will improve my writing skill and keep my mind sane.
